 | Conor (Year9) Dr K Williams has nominated Conor for learner of the week. Conor recently sat the Intermediate Maths challenge. Generally year 11 pupils sit this test, but we gave younger more able pupils the opportunity to sit the test if they wish. If pupils do well they gain a bronze certificate, if they do very well a silver and exceptionally well is a gold. Conor has achieved a gold certificate. I cannot begin to describe how amazing this achievement is for a year 9 pupil. I am so proud of him. His Mathematics teacher, Mr Deer informs me that Conor also achieved 100% in his recent Mathematics examination. It is a privilege to have such an able yet modest pupil at our school. |
